1. How to delete your account in the app
- Open the app and sign in to your account.
- Go to Profile → Account Settings.
- Select "Delete Account" and confirm the action.
Your account and the data associated with it are deleted immediately. Deletion cannot be undone.
2. If you do not have access to the app
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject "Account deletion" from the email address the account is registered to — this is needed to confirm that the request comes from the account owner. We will process the request within 30 days.
3. What data is deleted
- profile: name, age, gender, pronouns, city and country, description, interests;
- photos, videos, and voice messages, including the copies held by the storage provider;
- answers to the personality questionnaire and the results calculated from them;
- your messages in private chats and your posts in communities;
- responses, blocks, notifications, and other related records;
- email address and sign-in credentials.
4. What data is retained
- minimal service records of moderation (case identifier, date, decision taken) — for no longer than 12 months; they are needed for the security of the service and protection against repeat violations;
- information we are required to keep by law — for the period established by law.
5. What happens to the communities you created
Communities are not deleted together with your account. Management is transferred to a community moderator, and if there is no moderator, the community is archived and new posts in it become unavailable. Your name and photo in such communities are replaced with a designation of a deleted user.
